MEGA TEE Integrated Floor and Dual-Depth Plenum System—helps organize by-passing systems.
The ample MEGA-SPAN Dual-Depth Plenum—with dedicated space for plumbing, electrical and communications runs—easily accommodates all mechanical, plumbing, electrical, security and communications infrastructure.

MEGA TEEs of any length can be tilted on trailers to reduce their shipping dimensions. This reduces travel restrictions and the need for costly escort vehicles. Our patented TILT-FRAME TRANSPORTER™ allows safe, dependable transportation of the 15' MEGA TEE.

MEGA-SPAN Fireproof & Finish- Ready Columns
Slender, fireproof, finish-ready MEGA-SPAN columns can be configured to form highly efficient 45' x 55' bays. They can also be arranged in other bay sizes on a 15' or 12' module. These damage-resistant MEGA-SPAN columns can accept direct-applied coverings, coatings, or paint to minimize interior obstructions and fit-out costs.

MEGA-SPAN Shear Walls and Custom Cores
Precast Shear Walls help stabilize the building frame. Building core slabs—and framing to accommodate stairs, elevators, mechanical shafts and toilet rooms—are built to your plans using custom-sized precast slabs, girders and columns. For maximum economy and flexibility, except where precast shear walls are required, core or stair walls should be made of concrete block or gypsum shaftwall.

MEGA-SPAN Integrated Floor and Dual-Depth Plenum System

The shallow depth of MEGA TEEs—only 22"—yields a clear plenum depth of 45" in one direction and 26" in the other. Regularly spaced openings in MEGA TEE legs and load-bearing MEGA TEE girders enable unobstructed runs for plumbing, sprinkler, electrical and data systems in the plenum area above HVAC ductwork.

As with the roof deck, openings for vertical piping, ductwork and conduit, stairs, elevators, etc., up to 6'-3" wide and up to 25% of the MEGA TEE span can be precast, field-cut or retrofitted almost anywhere on the floor plate. Openings for stairs and elevators can be made between MEGA TEE legs. A 2" field-applied leveling-coat ensures level and flat floors with an overall depth of 5". MEGA TEE floors also work well with all raised-access floor systems.

MEGA-SPAN Structural Roof System
Strong, prestressed 15' MEGA TEEs provide a high degree of flexibility for locating rooftop equipment, and they reduce the noise and dampen the vibration caused by HVAC units. Openings for piping and ductwork can be precast or field-cut almost anywhere on the roof deck—as long as they do not pass through a tee leg. MEGA TEEs meet all building code requirements and may also reduce building sprinkler requirements.
